‘Zombie Angelina Jolie’ Sahar Tabar reveals her real face

Angelina Jolie’s Iranian ‘zombie’ doppelgänger revealed her real face after being released from prison.

Sahar Tabar, 21, has finally exposed herself after years of fooling the world with her dramatic features.

She has been dubbed a replica of Tomb Raider star Angelina, and has also been branded a “zombie” and “corpse bride”.

The social media maven was rumored to have undergone at least 50 surgeries to achieve the ghoulish look that earned her thousands of followers.

She had a razor-sharp chin, huge pouts, icy blue contact lenses, and faded skin that added to the illusion that she had just been unearthed.

But now she’s finally given up on the gimmicks and showed off her natural beauty in a TV interview after her release from prison. Sun reports.

Sahar spent 14 months behind bars at Karchak Desert Prison, which is known as “the worst prison in Iran for women”.

She was arrested in October 2019 for crimes including blasphemy and promoting public corruption due to her social media antics.

The 21-year-old was initially jailed for 10 years and then faced a decade in a hell hole before being released due to civil unrest.

Sugar – real name Fatemeh Khishvand – has now admitted that she never went under the knife to achieve her intimidating appearance.

Instead, the computer genius says she faked her shots in hopes of gaining international fame with fake dark makeup.

She told the state news agency, “What you saw on Instagram were computer effects that I used to create the image.”

Explaining that she “wanted to be famous since childhood”, she believed that “cyberspace is the easy way out”.

“It was a lot easier than becoming an actor,” Sahar said.

But the Iranian wants to scale back her online presence after legal troubles, despite her initial success with the photo-sharing app.

She added, “I’m pretty sure I won’t be putting Instagram on my phone again, let alone a page.”

The Photoshop scammer previously said she altered her image with makeup before editing it as a “joke”.

Sugar also claimed that she did not intentionally base her zombie character on Angelina Jolie or Corpse Bride.

She also expressed regret over her macabre posts since her arrest three years ago.

The Instagrammer said: “My mom told me to stop but I didn’t listen.

“Sometimes the words of a stranger or friend can be more important than the words of a parent.”

Although Sahar has not publicly discussed her time in prison, human rights groups have claimed that it is riddled with disease, poor sanitation and rife with torture, murder and rape.

The complex houses prisoners accused of violent crimes and female political prisoners together.

The overcrowded prison holds more than 2,000 inmates, and more than two-thirds of them don’t even have beds, he says.

Children detained along with nursing mothers also live in the prison.

And prisoners who protest such conditions are often tortured into solitary confinement.

Sugar ended up on a ventilator after contracting the coronavirus in prison after watching her plead for release.

However, the US-based Center for Human Rights in Iran said the judge denied the bail request.
