World Cup 2022: David Beckham was forced to check out of a luxury hotel in Qatar after fans learned of his whereabouts

David Beckham checked out of his five-star hotel in Qatar after fans found out where he was staying.

The former English star enjoys a stay in the elegant Baraha View Suite at the Mandarin Oriental in Doha, which costs up to A$35,700 per night. Sun reports.

Located on the top floor of the hotel, this room features a private dining area, private concierge, an open-air courtyard, private pool and gym.

But according to Mail onlineBeckham was forced to move out of the luxurious residence over the weekend after rumors spread about his residence status.

It is not known if he returned to the UK or remains in Qatar.

A source told the publication: “The staff loved having him here and called him ‘Sir David’ because he was so respectful and respected by everyone.

“The other guests barely saw him because he had a lovely room which is like a hotel within a hotel, meaning he didn’t have to mix with them.

“He was very polite and charming with the staff and seems to be a very decent person. Sir David is one of the most famous people in world football and I am honored to have him here.

“It is a pity that he is no more, but I am sure that he will return. Who wouldn’t want to stay here?”

During his stay, the football ace reportedly used the services of a personal chef while admiring the stunning views from his luxurious city suite.

Sources suggest that his menu includes Japanese Kobe steak cooked with blood and a selection of pasta dishes.

In order not to be discovered by the paparazzi, Beckham made his way to and from the luxury hotel using a separate lobby entrance.

He was reportedly driven around the capital in a darkened limousine on match days.

In addition, Beckham also spent time expanding his knowledge of local culture as a public relations officer for the Qatari Organizing Committee.

So far, he has already spent half a day at the Museum of Islamic Art in Doha, taking pictures of large colorful art installations and impressive technological light shows.

However, he has enjoyed a luxurious Qatari lifestyle alone with his wife Victoria and their children, who are believed to be in the UK.

The former football ace has been in the spotlight for some time after he signed a ten-year A$268 million deal with Qatar to become its ambassador.

Commentators including comedian Joe Lycett have criticized him for being associated with the Gulf Nation due to his human rights violations and his treatment of women and the LGBT community.

But since the tournament began, Beckham has kept a low profile and has not commented on the matter.
