Western Sydney community leaders ask to meet PM to discuss return of ISIS brides

Community leaders from Western Sydney called on Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to attend the meeting to discuss the impact of repatriation of Islamic State-linked families on their community.

Four women and their 13 children, who have lived in the Syrian Al Roj camp since the fall of ISIS in 2019, arrived at Sydney airport on Saturday morning.

Fairfield Mayor Frank Carbon criticized the Albanian government for “lack of communication” on the matter.
