Victor Wembanyama is expected to make his NBA Summer League debut in Las Vegas.

NBA draft winner Victor Wembanyama will make his first appearance in a San Antonio Spurs uniform in Las Vegas after the team announced on Wednesday that he will not be attending Summer League games in Sacramento, California.

In a brief statement about the availability of Summer League games to the media, the Spurs said the French prodigy will join the team in Las Vegas, where he will play the Charlotte Hornets on July 7 and the Portland Trail Blazers on July 9.

This raises the possibility of Wembanyama equaling No. 1. 2nd overall pick Brandon Miller of the Hornets and Scoot Henderson of Portland, third overall pick in the draft.
