US Markets Close to “Thanksgiving Day Celebration”

CommSec’s Tom Piotrowski says markets have calmed down as US markets closed around Thanksgiving.

“The general trend that we have seen over the last couple of days where stocks have been troubled is that they are gravitating to higher levels, and we are also seeing moderate long-term interest rates around the world,” he said. Sky News Australia.

“Part of the reason for this latest behavior is the comments we saw from central banks in the minutes of their last policy-setting meeting.”
