The winter surge in 2023 was much smaller than the previous two years, and we hope that the number of cases, hospitalizations and deaths will soon set a new pandemic low.

After the first few weeks, the week of July 7, 2021 became the pandemic low for weekly deaths, when 1,690 people died. For cases, the minimum was 82,186.

For hospitalizations, the minimum was 9,821.
