The breakthrough of the Kakhovka dam left the roads inaccessible, the villages are cut off from the world

Entire villages in southern Ukraine were flooded after the Kakhovka dam on the Dnieper River burst on Tuesday. One of the river’s tributaries, the Ingulets, overflowed its banks, flooding fields and villages more than 50 kilometers north of Kherson. FRANCE 24 correspondent Gulliver Cragg visited part of the affected area with the head of the Snigur military administration, the military equivalent of a mayor.
