The amazing jet-shaped house designed by a 12-year-old looks like it has ‘blown out of a cartoon’.

This tiny house is ready to take off.

The photos show a fun new airplane-shaped cockpit called “Jet House” – located in the wooded area of the Zala district, in the south Hungary.

The whimsical home combines “functionality with fantasy” and features a small kitchen and bathroom, as well as a bed hidden in the nose of the aircraft, the architects say. Two real airplane seats, real overhead lockers and a table with built-in cup holders decorate the lounge area, while outside, the wings of the plane serve as two outdoor seating areas.

The architects say: “It looks like it has taken off from a cartoon and landed in a meadow with its friendly arcs, curves and round windows.”

Surprisingly, the main designer of the project is only 12 years old. Young Louise Pados has always loved airplanes, so she and her father developed plans for a tiny house that they agreed could be used twice as a playhouse and rented out for vacations.

The designers say: “Luizi dreamed of a theater house where she could retire, invite her friends and sleep, and later it could be turned into an overnight stay. She came to the first meetings with well-thought-out ideas and plans on paper.”

They add that the concept was to create a “complete, functional tiny home that feels more like a pretty toy than a building.”

“As an architect, it is an inspiring challenge to design a building that is attractive. It was also not easy to incorporate traditional architectural elements such as waterproofing and thermal insulation into the sculptural form.”

It’s not yet confirmed when the Jet House will be rented out for the holidays, but Hello Wood notes: “With her cozy jet, Luizi is in seventh heaven and she’d love it if others could experience what it’s like to stay too.” to the Airplane House.
