Indictment of Haitian president’s widow a political hit, attorney says

An attorney for Martine Moïse, widow of assassinated Haitian President Jovenel Moïse, claims her indictment in the case surrounding the killing is politically motivated. “What do they do? They indict their perceived opposition. There is definitely a perception that she would or may run in the future,” Turner said of Prime Minister Ariel Henry’s government.
