Hawaii says octopus farm operated without proper permits

The owner of a controversial octopus farm on Hawaii’s Big Island was ordered in January to “cease and desist” from unauthorized operations after the noise of attention was directed at the little outfitwhich charges visitors $60 to touch a wild-caught diurnal octopus. The Kanaloa Octopus Farm in Kailua-Kona typically keeps 15 to 20 octopuses in
