Sky News host Liz Storer says teal independents who are condemning the rowdy debate of Question Time are “embarrassing”.
“These women always say they’re strong, independent women … and then they scream to be treated differently,” Ms Storer told Sky News host Sharri Markson.
North Sydney Independent MP Kylea Tink has claimed she felt unsafe in Parliament House after a rowdy Question Time and that one Coalition MP had been very aggressive towards her.
Ms Tink also said the behaviour in Parliament left her feeling like her “senses had been assaulted” by what she described as a hostile tone and aggressive body language.
“She can’t hack the heat – just stay out of politics,” Ms Storer said.
