startup India: MAARG portal registration startup applications launched

In an effort to strengthen the start-up ecosystem in the country, the Department of Industrial Development and Domestic Trade (DPIIT) announced the acceptance of start-up applications for registration on MAARG portal, National Mentoring Platform on Startup India.

Officials said that to further develop the Indian startup ecosystem, which is currently ranked third in the world, Startup India is focused on stimulating the startup culture and building a strong and inclusive ecosystem for innovation and entrepreneurship in India.

In this context, the MAARG Portal – Mentorship, Advice, Assistance, Sustainability & Growth is a one-stop platform to facilitate mentorship for startups across sectors, functions, milestones, geographies and backgrounds.

The objectives of the MAARG Portal include providing sector-specific guidance, support and support to startups throughout their lifecycle, creating a formalized and structured platform that facilitates intelligent networking between mentors and their respective mentees, and facilitates effective and expert mentoring for startups. and to create a result-oriented mechanism that allows timely monitoring of the interaction between the mentor and the mentee. Startups can now effectively communicate with academics, industry experts, successful founders, seasoned investors, and other experts from around the world via Artificial intelligence (AI) based partner search to get personal development and strategy advice.
