Ryan Tubridy leaves Late Late Show

Irish TV presenter Ryan Tubridy is about to step down as host of the Late Late Show, according to RTÉ.

The broadcaster has been a talk show host since 2009, after he took over from Pat Kenny.

He was the program’s third regular host after Mr. Kenny and Gay Byrne, who ran the show for nearly four decades.

Toubridy’s final program will air on Friday 26 May on RTÉ One.

No decision has yet been made on who will replace him as host of the show.
