Queenslanders are ‘going to miss’ Annastacia Palaszczuk: Graham Richardson

Former Labor minister Graham Richardson says Queenslanders are “going to miss” outgoing Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk as she led a “good, solid government”.

Ms Palaszczuk announced she would resign from her position at the end of the week, having been premier since 2015.

“She was very good and I think Queenslanders are going to miss her in many ways,” Mr Richardson told Sky News Australia.

“She had her faults, as well all do, but by and large it has been a pretty mistake-free reign.

“She hasn’t been suffering from a scandal a month – this has been a good, solid government and I think she goes out with the respect of nearly every Queenslander.”
