Queensland government profits from electricity grid: Keith Pitt

According to National Party MP Keith Pitt, one of the biggest problems facing Queensland is the amount of profit the state government is “taking from Queensland’s electricity grid.”

“Most Queenslanders have one retailer and that’s Ergon, which is owned by the state government,” Pitt told Sky News Australia.

“The federal government made a deal with Queensland, they could ask for these prices to be lowered and they can literally do that today.”
