Princess Kate breaks tradition by taking on ‘special roles and patronage’
Princess Kate took on “very specific roles and patronage” as she developed as the United Kingdom’s leading figure, compared to Queen Elizabeth II, who was broader in what she supported, says writer and broadcaster Esther Krauke.
“Princess Kate has made it very clear that there are several issues that are central to her role as a working royal and future queen,” Ms Krauke told Sky News correspondent Caroline Di Russo.
“This is definitely a departure from tradition.
“It will take the royals into the 21st century along with the rest of the public.”
