‘Out of control’ pro-Palestine protester climbs a War Memorial in London

Footage has emerged of a pro-Palestine protester climbing the Royal Artillery Memorial in London just days after Remembrance Day.

The protester waved the Palestinian flag to a large crowd chanting: “Free Palestine”.

Metropolitan Police described the incident as “deeply disrespectful” but did not arrest the demonstrator.

“In the absence of a law officers cannot automatically arrest, but they can intervene & make it clear the behaviour isn’t acceptable,” Metropolitan Police wrote on X.

Footage of the incident sparked fierce reaction on social media.

“London is spiraling out of control,” one user posted on X.
