One dead, two injured in explosion at dog breeder’s home in Utah

One person was killed and two others were injured in an explosion at a Cache County dog ​​breeder’s home on Thursday, March 9. The Cash County Sheriff’s Office said fire departments arrived at the scene of the explosion at the house where they were staying. There were three passengers at approximately 6:00 pm on Thursday. Passengers Karin and Joshua Mullin were taken to Logan Regional Hospital and Cache Valley Hospital, respectively, and are being treated for multiple burns, police said. John Mullin died in the explosion. Police said there were 16 dogs in the house at the time of the explosion, and about 30 more dogs were in a separate building elsewhere on the property. Five dogs were removed from the home and are being cared for at the New Vision Animal Shelter, where three dogs are in critical condition. All other dogs found on the property are cared for by family members, according to police. The police did not provide information about the cause of the explosion.
