The dismissal is said to have stunned Fulton, who reportedly walked out of the club’s Brookvale office in tears.

Hadley was a close friend and colleague of Bob Fulton, who died in 2021, and he criticized the club for an “unforgivable” dismissal.

The radio host used his 2GB platform to call the club and detail Fulton’s treatment on Friday, saying she was “escorted out of Manley’s office shortly after she was fired for allegedly bullying someone.” I am not aware of an official warning or attempt by HR to resolve this issue.

“She was taken out of the premises as if she had stolen money from a piggy bank.

“How is it that a capable, highly intelligent young woman is led out the door when her father’s name graces the podium at Manly?

“Is anyone in Manly interested in Christy’s mental health? No doubt Scott Penn (part-owner of the club) is not, he is probably flying back to the US, already there.

“Employers have the right to hire and fire, but under workplace laws, they must do so in a legal way.”

The club was in turmoil in the second half of the 2022 season. when the top seven players on a team pull out of a Round 20 match against the Roosters for religious and cultural reasons..

The Sea Eagles ended their 2022 campaign with seven straight losses, missing out on the Finals and fueling rumors of discontent in Manly’s camp.

Hadley said Fulton knew the rainbow jersey would cause discontent among the playing group and the club.

“Christy told various people that the so-called Rainbow Round would cause problems,” Hadley said.

“Well, it did more than that. It cost Manly the season and ended up costing (coach) Des Hasler his job.

“They (Manley) decided to do it when we were supposed to be celebrating the Women in League round.

“Perhaps the fact that they just threw the Women in League round out the window and replaced it with a rainbow round tells you how much the men’s club values women in rugby league play.”

Fulton became the latest celebrity to be fired by the club after them. Coach Des Hasler fired.

After months of negotiations, legal threats, and chaos, the Sea Eagles confirmed that Hasler had been fired immediately.

Daily Telegraph first reported that Hasler became aware of the news after the club informed his manager, George Mimis, that he had over a year left on his contract.

Manley has reportedly made the final decision to appoint former Broncos coach Anthony Seibold as his next head coach.
