‘No one can say anything’: stabbed teen’s father criticizes Queensland laws
At 15, Angus Beaumont had his whole life ahead of him, but he died after discovering that his marijuana deal had failed.
He was stabbed on a footpath in Redcliffe, north of Brisbane.
The Angus killers were 14 years old, one was on probation and the other was released on bail – neither of them received a prison sentence.
“They can step up their criminal behavior every time because they know that no one can say anything and no one can touch them because of the laws that these legislators are now passing,” said Ben Beaumont, Angus’ father.
