New earthquake brings fear, new casualties in Syria
Kamal Abuhasan’s small house in Jinderis, Syria was damaged in the first earthquake, but he and his family returned a few days later. They ended when the earthquake hit on Monday; the dwelling is now partially destroyed by piles of rubble. “Our house is destroyed, but at least our children are okay,” Abuhasan said. He set up a tent near the house, too afraid to go back inside.
