NCLT: ZEEL has been handling cases at NCLT, says CEO Punit Goenka.

Zee Entertainment Enterprises (ZEEL) dealt with court cases related to the company in National Companies Tribunal (NCLT) and those still pending before the tribunal are not owned by the company,” said CEO Puneet. Goenka analysts said.

Stating that the company is evaluating all legal options to overcome any further obstacles to the upcoming merger between Zee and sonyGoenka noted that the NCLT recently rejected IDBI’s insolvency filing against the company.

“At the same time, issues in NCLT that are even remotely related to the company have been resolved. The ones left in the tribunal are not ZEEL,” he said during a revenue call.

Goenka acknowledged that legal issues delayed the company’s merger with Sony.
