Microsoft: Microsoft Introduces AI-Powered Cyber Security Assistant

Microsoft Corporation on Tuesday launched a tool to help cybersecurity professionals identify breaches, threat alerts and better analyze data using Open AIlatest model of generative artificial intelligence GPT-4.

The tool, called “Security Copilot”, is a simple prompt box that will help security analysts with tasks such as summarizing incidents, analyzing vulnerabilities, and sharing information with colleagues on a bulletin board.

The assistant will use Microsoft’s custom security model, which the company describes as a “growing security-related skillset” that receives more than 65 trillion signals daily.

The launch comes amid a flurry of announcements from Microsoft about integrating AI into its most popular offerings.

The company aimed to stay ahead of the competition with a multi-billion dollar investment in OpenAI, the owner of ChatGPT, which recently released GPT-4 for a range of tasks from building a real website to hand-drawn layout to helping people calculate taxes.
