llaollao Malaysia enters the halal market

LLAOLLAO recently announced that it has received Halal certification from the Malaysian Department of Islamic Development (JAKIM).

This halal certificate confirms that all llaollao products, as well as their preparation process and source of ingredients, are suitable for Muslim consumption in accordance with the doctrines of the Islamic religion.

Llaollao has been offering consumers a healthier, creamier and refreshing alternative to frozen yogurt since the company opened its doors here in Malaysia in 2009. Now Muslim shoppers can enjoy their favorite nutritious frozen yogurt with a variety of delicious toppings. such as freshly cut fruit, crunchy toppings and delicious sauces imported directly from Spain without hesitation.

Tan Kai Yang, CEO of Woodpeckers Group Sdn Bhd and Chief Franchisee of llaollao Malaysia, shared: “We wanted to re-emphasize our commitment to Malaysia where we have brought joy to so many people since we opened our first llaollao store in 2015.

This halal certification is a significant milestone for llaollao as 2022 marks the brand’s seventh year in the Malaysian food and beverage market since its 2015 debut at the Kuala Lumpur Pavilion. To ensure the highest degree of compliance with Islamic halal standards, JAKIM uses a rigorous and comprehensive application process.

Tan added, “Achieving Halal certification is the culmination of our efforts to please customers in the face of growing demand for halal food and products that we have prioritized since opening.”

“We see this as the first step in the process of ensuring that all of our current and future stores are halal certified as we continue to expand the brand across Malaysia and maintain our market leadership position,” he said. Tan said.

To date, laollao has applied for seven new halal certificates, covering 31 businesses across the country. 40 llaollao locations were also successfully registered in the MyEHalal system.

llaollao Malaysia hopes that their halal accreditation process will go smoothly and by the end of 2022 they will be able to apply for additional halal applications in 40-48 more of their branches. These additional branches will include Sabah and Sarawak and help spread the llaollao. his joy to even more Malaysians.

There are currently only nine llaollao establishments that have received Halal certification.

These are llaollao AEON Cheras Selatan, llaollao Berjaya Times Square, llaollao IOI City Mall, llaollao Mid Valley, llaollao MyTOWN, llaollao NU Sentral, llaollao Sunway Putra Mall and llaollao the Gardens Mall.
