Kaoru Mitoma and Ritsu Doan named to Japan squad for March friendly matches
Japan’s 2022 FIFA World Cup stars Kaoru Mitoma and Ritsu Doan were included in Hajime Moriyasu’s 26-man squad on Wednesday for the team’s upcoming home friendlies against Uruguay and Colombia.
There were 10 changes in the Qatar manager’s roster: veteran defenders Maya Yoshida, Yuto Nagatomo and Hiroki Sakai, and striker Takumi Minamino were notable absentees, while Celtic duo Kyogo Furuhashi and Reo Hatate remained unnoticed.
