Kaori Sakamoto and Shoma Uno to play for Japan at World Team Trophy

Kaori Sakamoto, who just won her second consecutive world title last week, will captain Japan in the six-nation World Team Trophy figure skating competition starting April 13 in Tokyo.

Shoma Uno, also a two-time world champion, Ryuichi Kihara and Riku Miura, who together won the Japanese doubles title at the World Championships in Saitama, are among those joining Sakamoto, the team announced on Monday.

For the first time, Japan will claim victory in three world team competitions against the likes of the US and Canada.
