JSHalth Vitamins detox + debloat: product recall due to health warning

A popular women’s health vitamin sold nationally has been recalled after the label failed to contain health warnings.

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) has urgently recalled JSHalth Vitamins detox + debloat.

The tablets contain fennel seed extract, which may not be safe for pregnant women and children.

However, the bottle does not have the appropriate labeling needed to warn against consumption by these groups of people.

“This medication should not be taken by pregnant women, women who may become pregnant or breastfeeding, or children under 12 years of age,” the ACCC said in a statement.

The recall applies to batches of product sold in the last two years between November 2020 and October 2022.

Lot numbers affected include: B23434, B23441, B23462, B23463, B23485, B211091, B211111, B211161, B211231 and B211341.

Anyone who has purchased a bottle of vitamins is strongly advised to check the lot number.

Consumers must return the damaged bottle to their place of purchase to receive a refund or, if purchased online, visit https://www.danddlabelrecall.com.au/ to process the recall and receive a refund.
