Johnny Depp thanks Rihanna for cameo at Savage X Fenty fashion show

On Wednesday, the Pirates of the Caribbean actor went to social media to tease his appearance at the singer’s latest annual fashion show. This event was Rihanna’s fourth fashion experience. Amazon Prime since 2019.

On his instagram coil which has already amassed over 9.5 million views, Depp poses against a backdrop of bright lights, showing off sunglasses, a partially open button-down shirt, and an array of silver necklaces.

During his 40 second appearance in Savage X Fenty Vol. 4″, Depp, who made history as the first male celebrity “star” in the show Savage X Fenty. Diversity as well as TMZ — walked the runway showcasing Rihanna’s latest menswear collection to the tune of Outkast’s “So Fresh, So Clean.”

With his hair pulled back in a ponytail and wearing his signature layered necklaces, the longtime actor strolled through the dark woods as the fog machines swirled around. He was joined by a group of dancers, and the Golden Globe winner hugged a tree at the end of his cameo.

Just a few days before the HuffPost event confirmed that this is the first time he will appear in person at the event since the public trial with ex-wife Amber Heard.

Rihanna’s decision to include Depp on her show caused a flurry of controversy on Twitter.

“Rihanna can’t be serious? With all these handsome and unproblematic men in Hollywood, is Johnny Depp the one you like the most?” one user wrote.

Others defended the Grammy winner With one comment that “she can have anyone in her own show.”

Earlier this year the Virginia jury awarded Depp $15 million in compensation in a libel lawsuit against Heard, who accused him of domestic violence and sexual harassment.

The jury also awarded Heard, who still claims Depp abused her, $2 million in damages in a counterclaim against the actor.

The case against Heard focused on a 2018 Washington Post article in which she claimed she was a victim of domestic violence while she was married to Depp.

This article eventually led to Depp filing a libel suit against it due to the damage done to his career after the story was published.

Savage X Fenty Show Vol. 4″ came just a few months after Depp got hyped controversy for creating unexpected virtual appearance on MTV this year Music Video Awards as the hallmark of the Moon Person ceremony.

In a pre-recorded segment, the actor appeared virtually, with his face superimposed on VMA’s Moon Man, at an unexpected moment at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, in August.

The moment drew mixed reviews, especially from Heard’s sister, Whitney Heard, who slammed the net as “disgusting and obviously desperate” at the time.
