Israel faces threat of attacks from Hezbollah on northern border

As the situation deteriorates in Gaza, Israel is dealing with another threat on its northern border.

Hezbollah has ramped up fighting on the Lebanon-Israel border and there are fears that the conflict could escalate further.

Israel declared war on Hamas on October 7 after the Palestinian terrorist group fired thousands of rockets as far north as Tel Aviv.

Lebanon’s Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah has warned of a possible escalation in its cross-border fight with Israel in the north, after claiming to have launched almost two dozen strikes on the Israeli army.

The Lebanese militant group which is backed by Iran has been stepping up its operations as concerns continue to grow of a wider conflict in the Middle East.
