Heavy snow has closed roads in Big Bend National Park in Texas.

Several roads in Big Bend National Park remained closed on Sunday, March 19, after heavy snow continued to fall in southwest Texas. The National Weather Service (NWS) said the Chisos Basin, a mountain basin in the Chisos Mountains in the park, recorded six to eight inches of snow on Saturday. The road leading to the pool was reopened on Sunday morning. This footage, released by Big Bend National Park, shows winter scenes on the road leading to the pool. Several country roads in the park remained closed on Sunday, according to park officials. The NWS said temperatures will remain low on Sunday as the snowfall has stopped and warmer weather is expected on Monday. Credit: Big Bend National Park via Storyful.
