Grandmother Leah Hockley’s horrific injuries after being attacked by a dog in Adelaide
A grandmother staggers after being brutally attacked by a dog while walking in a park in north Adelaide.
When the incident occurred, Lea Hockley was walking through the Curtis swamps in the suburb of Munno Para.
“The big black dog just jumped out and grabbed my arm and dragged me to the ground,” she told Seven News.
I literally (had to) pull my hand out of the dog’s mouth… I’m just in shock, I just can’t believe it.”
Ms Hockley said the woman who was walking the dog did not provide any assistance after the attack, despite initially trying to restrain the animal.
“(There was) no anxiety, no questions, nothing,” she said of another pet owner.
Ms Hockley’s own dog was not injured in the attack.
