Free cybersecurity summit for banking and finance

The pandemic has accelerated the digital transformation of businesses and organizations at a pace never seen before in history. While the digital transformation has provided easier access, innovative solutions and greater convenience for companies and their customers, it has also increased the risk of cybersecurity threats as the banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) industry is one of the most vulnerable.

In an effort to educate and engage industry to take action to strengthen the protection of their own and their customers’ data, global cybersecurity leader Trend Micro is hosting the 2022 BFSI Cybersecurity Summit on Wednesday, November 16th at Fairmont, Makati.

The event is free for those working and associated with the BFSI sector and will bring together cybersecurity leaders from the Philippines and the Southeast Asia region as experts.

More cybercriminals are targeting digital-focused organizations in 2021, according to Trend Micro, with the banking industry ranking second in ransomware attacks. By expanding the digital attack surface—applications, websites, cloud infrastructure, on-premises servers, and operational technologies—as a result of the accelerated pace of digital transformation, Trend Micro is advocating the need for companies to be more vigilant in detecting, assessing, and remediating cybersecurity. threats and vulnerabilities.

The summit will bring together industry leaders who will discuss various topics in the field of cybersecurity, with a particular focus on the BFSI sector.
