The resolution of the committee follows MoU between the state government and Foxconn during a visit by a high-level delegation led by its chairman, Yang Liu, to Bangalore. At the time of the signing of the MoU, there were no details about the amount of investment or the number of potential jobs that the proposed division would add.

The contribution of the state of Karnataka to the manufacturing sector will be significant in the country.”

Industry Miniy Murugash R. Nirani said that Karnataka is at the forefront of renewable energy, ethanol production and the manufacturing sector. “In order to stimulate green hydrogen production, ethanol production, aerospace and renewable energy, ESDM, we have approved proposals from Amplus Active Private Limited, Ayana Renewable Power Six Private Limited, TATA Advanced Systems Limited.”
