Former Utah quarterback Lazar Stefanovic has announced he is moving to UCLA.

Waiting to see who’s leaving University of California at Los Angeles added a pitch known for the one thing the Bruins desperately need.

Shooting.

Lazar Stefanovichformer Utah All-Pac-12 freshman with two seasons of eligibility remaining, Announced Saturday on social media that he dedicated to the Bruins.

As a sophomore last season, the 6-foot-7 shooting guard hit 35.9% of his 3-pointers, more than all but two UCLA players who hit more than 10 shots from behind the arc. His percentage increased significantly from his freshman when he hit 30.1% of three-pointers.

Stefanovic should help make up for the loss of senior defenseman David Singleton, who ran out of eligibility after hitting a team-best 42.4% of three-pointers last season.

Last season, Stefanovic averaged 10.3 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.7 assists while shooting 86.8% of his free throws. He becomes the third incoming transfer Mick Cronin way, joining Johnny Juzang and Miles Johnson.

UCLA may still have up to four spots on the roster to fill while waiting for the redshirt senior point guard to decide. Tiger Campbelljunior guard Jaylen Clark and freshmen Good Adem and Amari Bailey.

Clark (shin) and Bona (shoulder) are recovering from serious injuries that could affect their decisions. Clark applied for the NBA draft while retaining an NCAA certified agent in case he wanted to return to exercise his remaining eligibility.
