Former Dodger Trevor Bauer signs lucrative one-year deal with BayStars
The Yokohama DeNA BayStars have signed former Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer, who was suspended by Major League Baseball in 2022 amid sexual assault allegations, the team announced Tuesday.
BayStars made the official announcement around 9 am. The signing of the contract was reported by various media a few hours before.
The team posted a message welcoming Bauer to Yokohama and included a video of manager Daisuke Miura talking to the pitcher as well as a message from Bauer.
