At least 37 people have died in a fire at a migration center in Mexico’s northern border town of Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, according to a statement issued Tuesday morning.

Authorities said the fire at the office of the National Institute for Migration (INM) occurred after they removed about 71 migrants from the streets of the city.

Neither the cause of the fire, nor the nationality of the victims of the authorities reported.

CNN has reached out to Mexico’s immigration authorities for a statement.
