Fire Engulfs Warehouse in Mexico City

Fire crews continued to battle a large fire that broke out at a warehouse in central Mexico City on Thursday, November 16. According to the city’s fire department, the fire broke out in the Cuauhtemoc district on Thursday afternoon and “several warehouses” were burning. By Thursday evening, they said the fire was 70 percent contained. About 500 people were evacuated from the area as firefighters tried to stop the blaze from spreading to other buildings, local media reported. No injuries were reported.
