Finnish fence on the border with Russia will cost hundreds of millions of euros

The cost of building a fence in Finland on the border with Russia is estimated at hundreds of millions of euros and could take three to four years to complete.

The work continues and Finland’s NATO membership is just around the corner.

This will be the longest European section of the border between the security alliance and the Russian Federation.

Between 130 and 260 kilometers of partial fencing are planned to be built along the front line, stretching over 1,300 kilometers.
