FIFA triples FIFA Women’s World Cup prize money

The prize money for the upcoming Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand will be three times that of the last World Cup in 2019, FIFA President Gianni Infantino said on Thursday, as he also revealed that the Saudi Arabia Tourism Board would not be sponsoring the tournament. .

Speaking at the FIFA Congress in Kigali, Rwanda, after being re-elected for a third term as president, Infantino said the total amount covering prize money, as well as training and club compensation, would be $152 million.
