Faye Fantharrow’s fundraiser gave singer ‘a chance at life’

The singer, diagnosed with cancer for the third time, says she can never express how grateful she is to the public for giving her “a chance at life.”

Faye Fantharrow, from Sunderland, was diagnosed with leukemia twice as a child and came to light in August. she had a rare and aggressive brain tumor.

The fundraising page set up for her treatment topped £180,000 and Eurythmics musician Dave Stewart, who mentored Faye, pledged £50,000 towards the procedure.

The 20-year-old has been accepted into a California-only medical study that costs around £450,000.
