“Fair” work to restore stability in communities affected by alcohol and crime

Liberal Senator Kerrinn Liddle says there is “a fair amount” of work to be done to restore stability to the lives of people in communities affected by alcohol restrictions.

“The lifting of alcohol restrictions last July for some of these communities actually exacerbated the problem, it’s clear, the data actually supports this position,” Ms Liddle told Sky News anchor Chris Kenny.

“It is Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people who are equally concerned about the problems of youth.

“There is a lot of work to be done to help restore stability to people’s lives.”
