Earthquake was felt ‘quite widely’ across Victoria
Geoscience Australia seismologist Hugh Glanville says the 3.8 magnitude quake north of Melbourne was strongly felt by residents of the central business district.
According to Mr. Glanville, the aftershocks were “quite extensive” given that they were about 2 km deep.
“We had over 23,000 messages as far north as Albury and as far south as Tasmania,” he told Sky News Australia.
