Disabled boy costume captivated NHL players and fans

Five-year-old Easton Otting is a huge fan of the Edmonton Oilers. Easton also needs a wheelchair to help him get around.

With the help of a skilled father, Easton had the perfect Halloween costume.

Easton became the Zamboni car for the Edmonton Oilers this year. The Zamboni is an ice changing machine used between periods of hockey games.

His costume caught the attention of the NHL, which named him “Costume of the Year”. It also caught the attention of Oilers star Evander Kane, who said, “It’s amazing, I love it.”

Easton has a condition known as doubling syndrome, which affects a person’s motor skills from birth.
