Overall, according to to the Cisco AI Readiness Index 2023, only 26% of organisations in India are fully prepared to deploy and leverage AI – but this is higher than the global average of 14%. 42% are moderately prepared, 31% have limited preparedness, while 1% are unprepared.
Sectors like technology services, finance and retail tend to be better prepared, while media and communications, education, transportation etc. tend to be under-prepared.
