Celtics beat Heat to move Eastern final to Game 6

The Boston Celtics have taken another significant step towards what they hope will be a historic comeback.

Derrick White scored 24 points as the Celtics staved off elimination for the second straight game by defeating the Miami Heat 110-97 at home in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Thursday.

The Heat have never led a game but still hold a 3-2 lead in the best-of-seven series as they head home to Game 6 on Saturday.
