Tom Brady used to setting new records, but he would not want to.

The 45-year-old has become the most fired quarterback in NFL history. Tampa Bay Buccaneers 27-22 loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday night.

Brady was fired twice at the end of the first half to first equal and then break the record previously held by Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.

In truth, it’s no surprise that Brady is the most fired quarterback in NFL history since he’s been in the league for over two decades and that doesn’t ruin his amazing legacy in the sport.

Perhaps most worrying about the seven-time Super Bowl champion is that the Bucks have lost three games in a row, the first time in Brady’s storied career since 2002.

This is a new low in a challenging season for both Brady and the Buccaneers.

“I don’t think you can erase what’s happened in the last eight weeks,” a despondent Brady, who rushed for a touchdown in defeat, told reporters after the game.

“We have to dig deeper, see what we are, come to work, try to improve and give ourselves a better chance of winning.”

Justin Houston fires Brady in the second quarter on Thursday.

Despite a nightmare season since he came out of retirement in March, Brady has reaffirmed his commitment to the Bucks amid speculation that a second retirement is imminent.

However, his on-field performances weren’t what we expected from possibly the greatest quarterback of all time, but his team isn’t helping him.

With communication issues with his offensive weapons, porous offensive line, and erratic play, problems for the franchise are mounting.

At the end of the first half on Thursday, they were leading 10-3, but the Ravens took full control in the second.

“We just didn’t play well enough to win,” Brady added.

On the other hand, Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson continued his streak of great performances, throwing two touchdowns and running for almost 50 yards in the win to improve Baltimore’s record to 5-3.
