Board games with dice: tesseract

Curt Covert, a board game company with almost 20 years of experience in the industry, recently launched a Kickstarter campaign for Tesseract, their latest collaborative board game. Tesseract is a “dice manipulation game” for one to four players at a time. Each round takes less than two hours, but approximately one full hour. Throughout the game, players are tasked with working together to remove, customize, and maintain cubes from the Tesseract, the large block of cubes at the center of the board game.

Tesseract is made up of 64 custom dice that spin on a motorized platform. Each cube contains a different set of glyphs that host their own tasks that need to be stabilized. Each turn, the player can remove the cube from the tesseract, rotate the cube at will, and move the cube from one research lab to another.

Tesseract is currently available for pre-order on Curt Covert’s official Kickstarter page for $50.
