Australia will stand “shoulder to shoulder” with Ukraine “as long as it takes”

Defense Minister Richard Marles said that Australia stands shoulder to shoulder with Ukraine.

“We are working very closely with the Ukrainian government; In the past few weeks, I have been talking with my colleague about how we can continue this support,” Mr. Marles told Sky News Australia.

Mr Males declined to elaborate on what Australia would provide to Ukraine as the conversation was currently being held with the war-torn nation.

“Ukraine has given us a menu of options, if you like… what will matter to them,” he said.

“But they absolutely understand that we are committed to their calls and that we will stand shoulder to shoulder with them for as long as it takes so that they can resolve this conflict on their own terms.”
