Just stop the oil protesters organized several marches around the city to disrupt traffic. According to TMX News, the protests took place on a number of bridges, including the Tower and London bridges.

The protest repeated the group’s demands that Britain immediately stop all new oil and gas production, usually using a series of provocative protests which involve the destruction of well-known works of art or private property in order to attract public attention and outrage.

Traffic demonstrations – the latest in a series of such demonstrations since April – have proved too frequent for some commuters as they resisted, sometimes even engaging in physical contact with the protesters. The police intervened only to arrest the man who attacked the demonstrators, drawing criticism from passers-by.
