Superstar Lance Franklin started the game with the first two goals, but in the fourth quarter he found himself in the spotlight.

As the ball hit the boundary line, the ball argued with Suns defenseman Sam Collins standing over the ball.

Franklin rushed in to apply pressure, but cut Collins as he was preparing to make contact.

The star forward’s left shoulder landed on Collins’ chin, which hit the deck and lay flat while a doctor came to examine him.

He was then picked up from the ground before taking the HIA test. Collins was ultimately eliminated from the game, however Fox Footy revealed that he passed the HIA.

“He’s getting ready for it, looking away from the football, it’s only for a millisecond, but he’s chasing the ball,” Dermott Brereton told Fox Footy.

Former AFL player Nick Dal Santo argued that Franklin’s offer could land him in serious trouble with the AFL, while fellow commentator Kelly Underwood summed it up in three words: “He’s in contention.”

The Suns capitalized in the final quarter after the Swans effectively put the cue in the rack, holding an eight-goal lead three-quarters of the time.

Franklin joins Melbourne’s Kisaya Pickett as the second player to face the nervous wait with the AFL match inspector.

A class action lawsuit against the league brought by 60 former players due to concussion sustained throughout their career could see the MRO take a hard line on hitting.

Pickett was immediately informed. during a competition in Melbourne against the Western Bulldogs after he left his legs to hit Bailey Smith in a kick that knocked him down.

It was in Pickett’s favor that Smith immediately got back on his feet and continued to play, which could have worked against Franklin.

Chad Warner led the Swans that evening, continuing his stellar 2022 season with 30 drops and a whopping 726 meters.

Franklin, Tom Papley, Logan McDonald and Harry Cunningham were in front of the net, causing damage by scoring two goals each to their own names.

Many believe that this season the Swans will again be among the contenders for the Grand Final, and their season has started perfectly.

It was a dismal performance for the Suns in front of their home fans in what could very well be another long season.

Linebackers Took Miller and Matt Rowell landed 57 shots in total, while Jarrod Witts tore the Swans apart with 25 touches and 51 shots.

Unfortunately, they just didn’t have the firepower to go with the Swans in what turned out to be a really one-sided affair.
